Wallowa Land Trust Outing: Tour Of The Lostine Fish Weir
Located just upstream of the confluence of the Wallowa and Lostine rivers, the Lostine Fish Weir allows the Nez Perce Tribe to track endangered steelhead and chinook salmon as they migrate to and from the ocean. Join Wallowa Land Trust and Nez Perce Fisheries biologist Shane Vatland for a tour of the weir and the river to learn about salmon and efforts to restore their populations in Wallowa County.
