Wallowa Land Trust Outing: Stewardship Days
We'll be removing barbed wire fence on the East Moraine which will eliminate a hazard to native species of the area such as the mule deer, red fox, badger, and a wide variety of smaller animals. We will also pull Knapweed, a noxious weed that can destroy native habitat and threaten native plants and animals. Meet at Wallowa Land Trust’s office (116 S. River St) by 8:30 am. We have light work gloves but encourage you to bring your own if you have a pair.
Lunch will be provided! Please RSVP (email info@wallowalandtrust.org or call (541) 426-2042 to guarantee yourself a lunch.
