The OK Theater and Josephy Center for Arts & Culture co-present an album release concert by Kinzie Steele, a local piano and drums post-jazz instrumental duo from NE Oregon. The projects features Seth Kinzie (Joseph) and Andy Steele (La Grande) showcasing their contemporary, classical compositions of beauty and space at the newly renovated OK Theater. The historic Enterprise venue just completed nearly two months of additional interior work, complete with two balconies, a gorgeous floor-to-ceiling mural by Anna Vogel, and exquisite wood carving and wood trim work by Steve Arment. The performance will also debut the newly stained wooden stage floor to the public. OK Theater Renovations! This exciting night will feature live painting by Josephy’s May exhibit artists, Anna Vogel & Carrie Chupp, to the music of Kinzie Steele, on a 32 sq. ft. canvas. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. Kids are free. Kinzie Steele’s debut album, When I Was A Tree, recorded on a Steinway B in Lostine, will be available for purchase at the show.
