In this afternoon workshop\, we'll focus on writing as a tool for developing and deepening our sense of place\, gaining tools for both "seeing and saying" what often goes unnoticed in the rush of our daily lives. Appropriate for seasoned writers and curious newcomers alike\, this class will incorporate elements of natural history\, Transcendentalism\, and contemporary literature of the West.\n\nSusan DeFreitas has never been able to choose between fantasy and reality\, so she lives and writes in both.
