Energy Trust of Oregon is offering a free, virtual training on September 24th for minority-, women- and service-disabled veteran owned businesses (MWBE/SDV) who may be able to boost opportunities by joining Energy Trust’s network of qualified trade ally contractors. Business owners will learn about opportunities to become part of Energy Trust’s trade ally contractor network, and hear from Business Oregon about how to achieve MWBE/SDV certification from the State of Oregon. Energy Trust helps customers meet their energy goals by referring them to a pool of about 1,900 contractors and green energy professionals around the state. Energy Trust’s network of contractors and other allied professionals – including architects, engineers, designers and builders – are part of the organization’s on-the-ground network that connects customers to incentives and services. Benefits of joining the network include business leads, specialized training, technical assistance, and cash incentives for customers. There is no charge to join the network.
