Tonite's Public event for Summer Fishtrap will feature Debra Magpie Earling, Karen Fisher, and Scott Russell Sanders.
Debra Magpie Earling—Winner of the American Book Award and recipient of a 2007 Guggenheim Fellowship, Earling directs the creative writing program at the University of Montana, where she also teaches Native American Studies.
Karen Fisher—A PEN/Faulkner finalist, Washington State Book Award winner, and NEA fellow, Karen Fisher is the author of A Sudden Country, as well as the upcoming Heart of the Monster.
Scott Russell Sanders—Indiana University’s Distinguished Professor Emeritus of English Scott Russell Sanders is the author of twenty books of fiction and nonfiction, and is the recipient of the John Burroughs Essay Award, the Mark Twain Award, and fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
