What If? Disaster Preparedness in Wallowa County
In the novel Station Eleven, a flu pandemic sweeps across the world. The story underlines how being prepared is essential in the face of calamity. Stacey Karvoski, Risk Manager for Wallowa Memorial Hospital presents What If? Disaster Preparedness in Wallowa County.
Ms Karvoski works to train hospital staff in the event of any number of disasters including the loss of electricity or water, weather events, and attacks. This is a unique opportunity to learn how Wallowa Memorial Hospital is planning for the unexpected and how you can too. The public is encouraged to attend this free event. It takes place at 7:00pm, Thursday March 1 at the hospital. Come with questions and learn how you can be prepared too.
