The Enterprise/Joseph Lions Club hosts a golf tournament Saturday Sept. 7 at Alpine Meadows Golf Course benefiting the Chief Joseph Summer Camp.
In 2018 Chief Joseph Summer Camp, a week-long day camp where Wallowa County kids have made memories for generations, moved to Ferguson Ridge Ski Area, owned by the Lions Club. The new location was a huge success and in 2019 nearly 140 campers, counselors and volunteers convened in the middle of July for games, exploration and fun.
To continue this new tradition of summer camp at Ferguson Ridge, proceeds from the Enterprise/Joseph Lions Club Golf Tournament at Alpine Meadows will benefit the camp programs and facilities.
The tournament is a four-person scramble format. Entry is $50 per person. To register, forms are available at www.golfalpinemeadows.com or www.skifergi.com. Forms and fees can be delivered to Alpine Meadows or emailed to bjables@eoni.com.
Entry deadline is Sept. 4. Late registration is 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7. Shotgun start is at 9 a.m.
