In February of this year, long-time Wallowa County llama packer Stanlynn Daughtery made her way to Namibia in southwest Africa to work as a volunteer in a wildlife sanctuary and research station. She came away with stunning photos of cheetahs, rhinos, meerkats and more. There will be a public showing of the trip on Friday, December 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the Odd Fellows Hall in Enterprise.
There is a suggested $5 per person donation at the door, but no one will be turned away. The money will go towards further restoration of the Odd Fellows Hall and to wildlife work in Africa.
Stanlynn is headed back to Africa for more volunteer work after the first of the year. People who saw this show at the Josephy Center a month ago are already waiting on it--and will probably be in the crowd on December 20! Come early and get a good seat!
