The Eagle Cap Extreme is Oregon’s only qualifying Race for both the Iditarod in Alaska and the Yukon Quest in Alaska/Canada along with being a winter destination for family oriented fun. The ECX provides two distances Mushing trails. There is a 100 mile, 8 Dog Race along with a 200 mile, 12 Dog Race. Both races will make their way through the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest which contains the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Members interests range from cowboy action, high power and small bore rifle and pistol, to muzzle loading, archery and shotgun sports. The Association is developing a 160 acre range 7 miles north of Enterprise which is open to members and the public.
